Profile

Los Angeles Harbor College (LAHC) is one of the 109 outstanding public two-year California community colleges and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. L.A. Harbor College is distinctive because of its relatively small size (8500 students, 120 international students), its friendliness, its world-class architectural technology, music, and nursing (R.N.) programs, and its accessibility to all of the attractions Southern California offers. The College's 80-acre campus, situated in the Wilmington section of the City of Los Angeles, is only ten minutes from the ocean and is bordered by park land, a golf driving range, a public golf course and the Harbor Freeway, making the college one of the safest and certainly one of the more commuter-friendly colleges (by car or public transportation) in Los Angeles County.
